about

Victor Krummenacher's 2006 album Cock Crows At Sunrise was his first solo album in four years after the release of 2002's Nocturne and the reformation of Camper Van Beethoven. Most of the songs were tracked live at Fantasy Studio A in Berkeley, CA in what would become a long string of albums recorded at the facility. A series of songs based on family stories featuring artwork by the painter Timothy Cummings. Digital download features a bonus version of the song "I Have Always Loved A Party" originally released by Dennis Cooper for his "story-song" CD.
